A one-on-one fight, also known as a DUEL, is a confrontation between two people in which each combatant agrees to fight using predetermined rules. It is usually fought with weapons such as swords, guns, or fists. The purpose of a DUEL is to settle a dispute or to prove one's honor. Historically, duels were often fought to the death, but today they are more commonly fought to first blood or until one combatant yields.
