Ethel Kennedy is one of the Kennedys, the prominent American political family. She was born Ethel Skakel and married Robert F. Kennedy in 1950. Robert F. Kennedy was a United States Senator from New York and the 64th United States Attorney General. He was assassinated in 1968. Ted Kennedy was Robert's younger brother and served as a United States Senator from Massachusetts for 47 years. Eunice Kennedy Shriver was Robert and Ted's sister and was the founder of the Special Olympics. PAT Kennedy Lawford was Robert and Ted's sister and was an actress and socialite. All five of these people are considered to be part of the Kennedy family and are all examples of 'One of the Kennedys'.
