MARK is believed to have been written by JOHN MARK, a companion of the apostle Peter. JOHN was written by the apostle JOHN, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus. Luke was written by the physician Luke, who was also a companion of Paul the Apostle. Finally, Matthew was written by the apostle Matthew, another of the twelve disciples of Jesus.
