The term ONE OF THE EARPS refers to two of the famous Old West lawmen, Morgan Earp and Wyatt Earp. Morgan Earp was the younger brother of Wyatt Earp and was a deputy marshal in Tombstone, Arizona. He was killed in 1882 in an ambush by outlaws. Wyatt Earp was a lawman and gambler who became famous for his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. He lived until 1929 and is remembered as one of the most famous figures of the American Old West.
