Roo is one of Winnie the Pooh's closest friends and is a young kangaroo. He is often seen hopping around the Hundred Acre Wood with his mother, Kanga. OWL is another one of Pooh's pals and is an old, wise bird who lives in a tree. He is often seen giving advice to the other characters in the stories. Kanga is Roo's mother and is a gentle, caring kangaroo who loves her son very much. She is often seen looking after Roo and providing him with comfort and support.
