One-celled animals, also known as protists, are single-celled organisms that lack the complex structures of multicellular organisms. Two examples of one-celled animals are ameba (5 letters) and amebae (6 letters). Ameba and amebae are both single-celled organisms that can move around and feed on other organisms. They reproduce by splitting into two parts, and they can change shape to adapt to their environment.
