The Old Testament of the Bible is filled with stories of faith and courage. One of the most well-known stories is that of Noah's ARK, which was a boat built by Noah to save himself, his family, and two of each animal from the great flood. Another story is that of RUTH, a Moabite woman who chose to follow her mother-in-law Naomi back to Bethlehem. Hosea was a prophet who warned the people of Israel of their sins and urged them to repent. Micah was another prophet who spoke out against injustice and warned of the consequences of sin. Ezra was a priest and scribe who led the Jews back to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. Lastly, JONAH was a prophet who was swallowed by a large fish and eventually emerged to preach repentance to the city of Nineveh. All of these characters are part of the Old Testament Boat, which is a metaphor for the journey of faith.
