The Old Soviet Premier was Vladimir Lenin, who was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as the head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Lenin was a key figure in the October Revolution of 1917, which overthrew the Russian Provisional Government and established the Soviet Union. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the Communist International.
