The Old Deliverer is an Iceman, a job that has been around for centuries. An Iceman was responsible for delivering blocks of ice to homes and businesses before the invention of refrigeration. The Iceman would cut large blocks of ice from frozen lakes and rivers in the winter and store them in insulated warehouses until they were needed. The Iceman would then deliver the ice to customers in the summer months.
