Odin, also known as Woden, is an important figure in Norse mythology. He is the chief god of the Aesir tribe of gods and is associated with wisdom, war, battle, death, magic, poetry, and the runic alphabet. He is often depicted as a one-eyed old man with a long beard and a wide-brimmed hat. Odin is also known for his two ravens, Huginn and Muninn, who fly around the world and bring him news.
