The Norse god of the sea is Aegir, a giant who was known for hosting elaborate feasts for the gods. He was married to Ran, the goddess of the sea, and together they had nine daughters who were known as the billow maidens. Aegir was also known for his brewing skills, and was often seen with a large cauldron. He was associated with storms and rough seas, and was said to be able to control the waves.
