Narrative writing is a form of writing that tells a story or recounts an event. It can be written in either the form of an epic poem, known as an epos, or in the form of PROSE. An epos is a long narrative poem that is usually composed in an elevated style and often deals with heroic themes. PROSE is a form of writing that uses ordinary language and follows regular grammatical conventions. Both forms of narrative writing are used to tell stories and recount events.
