Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled to the island of Elba in 1814 after his abdication from the French throne. Elba is a Mediterranean island located off the coast of Tuscany, Italy. It is approximately 10 miles wide and 22 miles long, and is known for its beautiful beaches and lush vegetation. Napoleon was allowed to keep his title of Emperor of Elba, and he lived there until 1815 when he escaped and returned to France.
