A mythical hybrid is a creature that is composed of parts from two or more different animals. The most common mythical hybrids are the SATYR, which is a creature with the upper body of a human and the legs and horns of a goat; the CENTAUR, which is a creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse; the griffin, which is a creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle; the CHIMERA, which is a creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a snake; the gryphon, which is a creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle; and the jackalope, which is a creature with the body of a rabbit and the antlers of a deer.
