Mauna KEA is an inactive volcano located on the island of Hawaii. It is the highest mountain in the state, standing at 13, 796 feet above sea level. The Mauna LOA volcano is also located on the island of Hawaii and is the largest active volcano on Earth. Nucleosis is a phenomenon that occurs when the air pressure around a volcano changes suddenly, causing the release of large amounts of volcanic ash and gases into the atmosphere.
