The Manxmen are a group of people from the Isle of Man, an island located in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. They are also known as the Manx, and they are descended from the ancient Celts, specifically the GAELS. The GAELS were a group of Celtic peoples who inhabited the northern and western parts of the British Isles during the Middle Ages. They spoke a language called Gaelic, which is still spoken by some Manxmen today.
