Stan Lee of comic book fame was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He is best known for co-creating Marvel Comics with Jack Kirby in the 1960s, which included iconic characters such as Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, and many others. He was also the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, and later became its publisher. Stan Lee was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 95.
