It is the official language of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. SWAHILI is also spoken in parts of Somalia, Malawi, Zambia, and Comoros. It is estimated that over 100 million people speak SWAHILI as their first or second language.
