Serbia is a landlocked Balkan country located in the southeastern part of Europe. It is bordered by Hungary to the north, Romania and Bulgaria to the east, North Macedonia to the south, and Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the west. Serbia has a population of over 7 million people and its capital city is Belgrade. Serbia is a member of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
