Elaine, Enid, and Isolt are all characters from Arthurian Romance. Elaine is the daughter of King Pelles and the mother of Galahad in the stories of the Holy Grail. Enid is a princess who is married to Geraint in the Welsh tale of Culhwch and Olwen. Isolt is a princess who is the daughter of King Anguish of Ireland and the wife of Tristan in the story of Tristan and Isolde. All three of these characters are considered to be 'Ladies of Arthurian Romance'.
