The INCA were an indigenous Peruvian people who lived in the Andes Mountains of South America from the 12th to 16th centuries. They were one of the largest and most powerful pre-Columbian civilizations in the Americas, and their empire stretched across much of western South America. The INCA are known for their advanced engineering, architecture, and agricultural techniques, as well as their sophisticated system of government and religion.
