A TSUNAMI is a huge sea wave caused by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption. It is a natural disaster that can cause immense destruction and loss of life. Tsunamis are characterized by their immense size and speed, often reaching heights of up to 30 meters and travelling at speeds of up to 800 kilometers per hour. They can travel across entire oceans and cause destruction in coastal areas thousands of kilometers away from the epicenter of the earthquake or eruption.
