The Horn of Africa is a peninsula located in the easternmost part of Africa, bordered by the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. It is composed of the countries of Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia. The term 'Horn of Africa' is derived from its shape, which resembles the horn of an animal. The CAPE of the Horn of Africa is a CAPE located at the southern tip of the peninsula, and is the most southerly point of the continent.
