Horace Creation is best known for his work as an ODE writer. He was a Latin poet of the late Roman Republic and early Roman Empire, and is considered one of the greatest lyric poets in Latin literature. His works include the Odes, Epodes, Carmen Saeculare, and Epistles. He is also credited with introducing the concept of carpe diem, or 'seize the day'. His works have been widely studied and translated into many languages.
