Elgin Baylor is a former American professional basketball player who played for the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was an 11-time NBA All-Star and a 10-time member of the All-NBA first team. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977 and was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History by the NBA in 1996. He was also known as a 'HOOPSTER' due to his skill and athleticism on the court.
