Lauren Bacall was a Hollywood legend who starred in many classic films such as To Have and Have Not, Key Largo, and The Big Sleep. She was born Betty Joan Perske in 1924 and began her career as a model before becoming an actress. She was married to Humphrey Bogart from 1945 until his death in 1957. Bacall was nominated for two Academy Awards and won a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway musical Applause. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 89.
