Mensa is a Latin word meaning 'TABLE' and is used to represent the round TABLE discussions that take place among its members. The organization was founded in 1946 and has since grown to include over 130, 000 members in more than 100 countries. Members of Mensa are required to have an IQ in the top 2% of the population, making them some of the most intelligent people in the world.
