Hedwig and the Angry INCH is a musical comedy-drama film released in 2001. It follows the story of Hedwig, a transgender singer from East Berlin, and her band, The Angry INCH. The title of the film is derived from the name of the band, which is a reference to a slang term for a failed sex-change operation.
