Osiris is the god of the afterlife, the underworld, and rebirth in Egyptian mythology. He was also the god of transition, vegetation, and fertility. He was the son of Geb, the god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the sky. Osiris was murdered by his brother Set, but resurrected by his wife Isis. He is often depicted as a green-skinned man with a pharaoh's beard, wearing a distinctive crown with two large ostrich feathers at either side.
