Gemsbok is an ANTELOPE species native to southern Africa, also known as ORYX. It is a large ANTELOPE with long, straight horns and a tan coat with white patches on the face, neck, and legs. The Gemsbok is a very fast runner and can reach speeds of up to 60 miles per hour. It is a very powerful animal and is known for its aggressive behavior when threatened. It is also a very social animal, living in herds of up to 30 individuals.
