Yitzhak Rabin was a former Israeli leader who served as Prime Minister of Israel from 1974 to 1977 and again from 1992 until his assassination in 1995. He was also a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, having been awarded the prize jointly with Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East.
