Elroy Hirsch was a professional American football player, coach, and executive. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1974. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and professionally for the Los Angeles Rams from 1949 to 1957. He was also an executive with the Rams and Chicago Bears. During his playing career, he was known as 'Crazylegs' for his unusual running style.
