Uther Pendragon is the father of King Arthur, a legendary British leader who is said to have lived in the 5th or 6th century. Uther is a figure in Arthurian legend and is mentioned in some of the earliest known literature about the Arthurian legend. He is also known as the father of Merlin, the famous wizard.
