The Emmy-winning newsman is Tom BROKAW, a veteran journalist and former anchor of NBC Nightly News. He has been a part of the NBC family since 1966, when he joined the network as a reporter in its Los Angeles bureau. During his time at NBC, he has covered some of the most important stories of the past half century, including the Vietnam War, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the September 11th attacks. He won an Emmy for his coverage of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
