Elisabeth Shue is an American actress best known for her roles in the films The Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting, and Cocktail. She also starred as the titular character in the television series The Saint from 1997 to 1999. Shue's character, Elisabeth of 'The Saint', was a modern-day version of Simon Templar, the protagonist of the original 1960s series. Elisabeth was a strong, independent woman who often found herself in dangerous situations, but always managed to come out on top.
