Stefan Edberg was a professional tennis player from Sweden who won six Grand Slam singles titles and three Grand Slam doubles titles during his career. He was ranked as the world's No. 1 player for a total of 72 weeks between 1985 and 1990. Edberg was known for his serve-and-volley style of play, which he used to great success in both singles and doubles. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2003.
