The term 'double or triple skating move' refers to a figure skating move known as the Axel. This move involves a skater taking off from the back outside edge of one foot, making one and a half rotations in the air, and landing on the back outside edge of the opposite foot. It is considered to be one of the most difficult jumps in figure skating and is named after its inventor, Norwegian figure skater Axel Paulsen.
