Dora the Explorer, for one, is a Latina animated television series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes, and Eric Weiner. The show follows the adventures of Dora, an eight-year-old Latina girl, as she embarks on quests in order to find something or help somebody. Along the way, she is accompanied by her monkey friend Boots, her talking backpack, and other characters.
