The Rani is a Doctor Who villainess, often referred to as 'The Rani'. She is a renegade Time Lady, a genius scientist and a master of manipulation. She first appeared in the 1985 serial The Mark of the Rani and has since made several appearances in the Doctor Who franchise. She is known for her ruthless and calculating nature, as well as her ability to manipulate time and space. She is one of the Doctor's most formidable foes.
