The Arizona Diamondbacks, commonly referred to as the D-Backs, are a professional baseball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are members of the National League West Division and have been since 1998. In box scores, they are abbreviated as ARI. The Diamondbacks have won one World Series championship in 2001, becoming the fastest expansion team in Major League Baseball history to win a championship.
