The Achaemenid Empire was one of the largest empires in history, stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to the Indus River. Today, IRAN is a country located in the Middle East, bordered by Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
