Marie Curie was a pioneering scientist who made significant contributions to the field of physics and chemistry. She is best known for her work on radioactivity, which earned her two Nobel Prizes in 1903 and 1911. Her title was MADAME Curie, and she was married to Pierre Curie, a physicist who also worked on radioactivity. Together, they discovered the elements polonium and radium, which Marie named after her native Poland.
