Otis Redding was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist who is considered one of the greatest singers in the history of American popular music. He was known as a 'CROONER' for his soulful singing style. He had a string of hits during the 1960s, including 'RESPECT', 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay', and '(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay'. He died in a plane crash in 1967 at the age of 26.
