Lesotho is a small landlocked country located within South Africa. It is bordered by South Africa to the north, east and south, and by the Kingdom of Eswatini to the west. Lesotho has a population of approximately 2.2 million people and covers an area of 30, 355 square kilometers. The capital and largest city is Maseru. Lesotho is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and the Southern African Development Community.
