Council Bluffs' State is Iowa, a state located in the Midwestern United States. It is bordered by Minnesota to the north, South Dakota to the northwest, Nebraska to the west, Kansas to the southwest, Missouri to the south, and Illinois and the Mississippi River to the east. Iowa is the 26th most populous state in the United States and the 30th most extensive in land area. It is known as the 'Hawkeye State' and is home to the University of Iowa.
