Continental Currency is a term used to refer to the currency issued by the Continental Congress during the American Revolution. The currency was issued in denominations of dollars, half-dollars, and quarter-dollars. The term is also used to refer to the European Union's single currency, the Euro, which is represented by the symbols EURO (4 letters) and EUROS (5 letters), as well as the European Currency Unit (ECU), which is represented by the symbol ECUS (4 letters).
