The Constitutional Capital of Bolivia is Sucre, a city with a population of approximately 250, 000 people. It is the capital of the Chuquisaca Department and is located in the south-central part of the country. Sucre is known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also the site of the Supreme Court of Justice and the National Congress of Bolivia.
