Sean Connery is a Scottish actor who is best known for his portrayal of the iconic character James Bond in seven films from 1962 to 1983. He has also starred in many other films, including The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and The Rock. Connery has won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for his services to film drama.
