Georges Bizet was a French composer best known for his OPERA Carmen. He wrote the libretto based on the novella by Prosper Merimee. The OPERA is set in Seville, Spain and is famous for its Habanera aria. Eric McRae was an American composer who wrote a musical adaptation of Carmen.
