Louie Anderson is an American comedian and actor best known for his stand-up comedy and his role as Christine Baskets on the FX comedy series Baskets. He has also appeared in films such as Coming to America and Life with Louie. Anderson has won three Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on the show. He is also a New York Times bestselling author and has written several books, including Dear Dad: Letters from an Adult Child.
